JOURNAL of the ASSOCIATION of BLACK ANTHROPOLOGISTS

Vol. 32, no. 2

Cover image: Mural a la bandera negra, photographed by Alejandro Escalante.

Dubbed the “Resistance Flag,” the famous red, sky blue, and white Puerto Rican flag door was repainted by artist-activists Artistas Solidarixs en Resistencia shortly after the PROMESA bill was signed into law as an act of protest and resistance against further encroaching US oversight.
